Features
Everything the agency needs to track production — and nothing it doesn't.
Comp Tracker is a focused production ledger for independent insurance agencies. It records what your producers submit, what actually gets issued, and who changed what along the way.
One shared ledger for the whole agency
Every producer logs applications into the same ledger: line of business, client or policy reference, premium, effective date and — for life and health — monthly premium plus amount of coverage. Filters narrow the view by line, producer or status so you can answer a question without exporting anything.
Submitted and issued, kept separate
New entries land as Submitted and show in yellow. They count as pipeline, not production. An admin marks an entry Issued and it turns green and moves into the official totals, so a busy submission month never reads as a strong issued month.
Optional admin approval, enforced in the database
Turn on approval and issued entries lock. If a producer edits a protected field — premium, coverage, line or effective date — on an already-issued entry, the record automatically drops back to Submitted for review. That rule lives in the database, not just the form, so it holds no matter how the change is made.
Recurring templates
Save the policy structures your agency writes over and over and apply one to a new entry in a single click. Producers spend less time re-typing the same line and coverage details, and the data stays consistent across the team.
Reporting by policy type, producer and month
Built-in charts break production down by category, by producer and by month, alongside summary cards for submitted apps and premium, issued apps and premium, and total life and health coverage placed.
A full audit trail
Every create, edit and delete is stamped with who did it, when, and exactly which values changed. The history page is searchable by producer, so a disputed number has an answer instead of an argument.
Team management and shared access
Admins create producer accounts by username — no public sign-up — and can reset the team to a shared password when needed. Contact emails live on each producer record for agency announcements.
Agency FAQ and announcement emails
Admins publish an internal FAQ with a rich editor and live preview, and send branded announcement emails to selected producers or outside addresses, with every send recorded in a history log.
